American Horror Story: Cult Episode Titles. Ryan Murphy’s FX horror anthology’s seventh season, American Horror Story: Cult, has dropped a new clip and its first four episode titles teasing the election- themed season. Unlike last season, American Horror Story: Roanoke, which released tons of teasers that kept fans on their toes guessing what the theme was for months, Cult isn’t beating around the bush letting its “followers” know exactly what they’re getting into when the season premieres this September. So far, we known the cast consists of returning AHS alums Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter, Mare Winningham and Frances Conroy, plus newcomers Lena Dunham, Billy Eichner, Billie Lourd, Alison Pill and Colton Haynes. As for the plot, we know that Paulson and Peters’ characters Ally and blue- haired Kai will be involved in a “love story for the ages” teased by Murphy through the first artwork showing the characters in a recent Instagram post. We also know that the season will feature actual footage from the 2. Freak Show characters – most notably Twisty the Clown who, based on the clown- filled teasers, may be the idol/leader of the clown- dressed cult.
In a new report on Bloody Disgusting, the first four episode titles of Cult are revealed, teasing “a new truth” that follows along with the election theme, plus a look at a new teaser urging new cult members that “your thoughts and fears are an illusion, surrender to a new truth, wake up”. The last episode title we are given, ’1. Perhaps the eponymous cult will make its first strike on the community after the election, and/or a major political figure will be targeted by the cult.

We want you. That is how American Horror Story: Cult first targeted followers of the FX anthology series, but that was only the beginning of the courtship. The website for the seventh season of Ryan Murphy's horror show is now encouraging the AHS fan base to join its cult by signing up for an eight- week long, interactive journey. Each week, the creative minds behind the series will unlock more content and clues about the election- themed season, which will remain somewhat of a mystery leading up to its Sept.
Last season, showrunner Murphy changed things up and kept the title, theme and cast of the sixth season, Roanoke, a secret until it premiered. As a result, the FX marketing team, led by Stephanie Gibbons, entered uncharted marketing territory to launch 2. The risky campaign paid off, and this year Gibbons' team was again tasked with coming up with a unique way to target the rabid AHS audience. We didn't want to not give people the theme or any information and felt they would be tired of that approach.
Paulding has worked on the marketing for the last four cycles of the Murphy- and Brad Falchuk- created anthology. Using a water projection adjacent to the network's activation space, AHS played a video teaser that directed fans to visit AHS7. Once there, a second video revealed the title to be Cult.
Hardaway has worked on the Comic- Con and real- life activations since AHS' launch in 2. The footage is the first look at the nightmarish clowns that Murphy had been teasing on his social media leading up to the July 2. The music continues to play as the web of clowns dance in cult- like formation. When the movement stops, they look directly at the web visitor with a message: Click Here.

Facebook will continue to be a part of the interactive experience, with the Messenger app being a . But don't expect the leader on the other side of the chat to reveal himself in the end. Though each week doesn't have an outright theme, there will be a .
Viewers can also expect clues to continue to drop on social media, including Murphy's account, and with real- world activations in different locations that will direct viewers back to the site for more information.
